SSEC Optimizes Export Packaging and Marine Reinforcement to Improve Delivery Reliability
Keywords: export packaging, marine reinforcement, quality assurance
With the rapid expansion of international markets, SSEC Elevator Co., Ltd. has completed a major upgrade of its export packaging and marine reinforcement system, developed to guarantee safer and more reliable delivery of elevators and components to overseas customers. This improvement reflects our dedication to quality assurance at every stage—from factory production to on-site installation.
In overseas logistics, elevator components often face complex shipping conditions: multiple port transfers, extended sea voyages, humidity exposure, and vibration during land transport. To address these challenges, SSEC’s engineering and logistics teams jointly developed a new multi-layer protection system. It includes customized steel reinforcement frames, shock-absorbing bases, vacuum-sealed anti-moisture wrapping, and high-strength wooden crates equipped with internal foam buffers. Each part—such as the traction machine, control cabinet, and door operator—is fixed in precision-cut slots to prevent displacement during loading or transit.
Before full-scale implementation, the system was tested through vibration, salt-spray, drop, and compression simulations, replicating real shipping environments. The results confirmed its outstanding resistance to humidity, salt corrosion, and impact. Two recent export projects using the new system achieved zero component loss and faster installation on-site, with clients reporting improved assembly accuracy and time savings of up to 20%.
In addition to hardware improvements, SSEC optimized export documentation by introducing visual part labeling, assembly diagrams, and digital installation manuals accessible via QR code. These guides help foreign technicians easily identify and assemble each elevator component upon arrival, reducing the chance of errors or rework.
This upgrade has significantly improved our international delivery reliability and brand reputation in the global elevator industry. It demonstrates our capability not only as a manufacturer but also as a logistics innovator, ensuring that every shipment—whether panoramic, passenger, or freight elevator—arrives in perfect condition.
SSEC will continue to refine its packaging standards, logistics coordination, and marine transport solutions. Through these innovations, we aim to deliver higher operational efficiency, lower transit risks, and maximum customer satisfaction, reinforcing our role as a dependable partner in the global vertical transportation market.
